APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate Candidates for Initiation

  • Be enrolled in or have completed Intermediate Accounting I  

  • Have a 3.25 or higher overall and major GPA

Graduate Students

  • Admissions will be based on undergraduate GPA

HOW TO APPLY

Application includes: 

  • Online Application

    • 1 Page Resume

    • Personal Statement

    • Unofficial Transcript 

  • $75 Initiation Fee once accepted

    • Payable through Venmo: @uga_bap

Applications for Spring 2024 will close at 7PM on January 16th, 2024.

INITIATION

Initiation will last TWO semesters. Here are the instructions for both Fall and Spring initiate classes.

Fall 2023 Initiates:​

  • attend five chapter meetings 

  • six hours of community service 

  • two social events

Spring 2024 Initiates:​

  • attend first internal meeting

  • attend six chapter meetings

  • six hours of community service

  • two social events

ACTIVE MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

Once initiated, you must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered an active member of Beta Alpha Psi:

 

  • Attend four chapter meetings per semester, give four service hours per semester, and attend one social per semester

  • Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.25

 

If you fail to maintain the above requirements, you will have a 1 semester grace period to return to compliance.
